Responsibility for processing.

Gustavo Almeida Sociedade de Advogados, CNPJ 65.757.724/0001-20, operates this site under the Almeida e Trindade Advogados brand. The office address is Av. Embaixador Abelardo Bueno, nº 1, bloco 1, sala 504A, Barra Olímpica, Rio de Janeiro/RJ, CEP 22775-022.

This notice describes data processing related to browsing this site and initial inquiries through the form. Processing in connection with legal services depends on the professional relationship and the matter presented, subject to professional confidentiality and applicable obligations.

The site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand how its pages are used. The tool may use cookies and process information about pages visited, traffic sources, interactions, devices, and browsers. This information is sent to Google for processing and reporting.

Fonts, images, and form components are served with the site itself. The Contact page does not load Google Analytics; on other pages, the tag loads from an external Google service. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings.

How Google uses information from sites and apps.

Language selection uses links to the Portuguese, English, and Spanish versions. It does not require registration or create a visitor identifier. To animate the menu, the site may temporarily store the source page, destination page, and navigation time in the browser tab. This record is read and removed on the next page and is not sent to an analytics service.

Hosting, access, and security.

Hosting, delivery, and security services may process IP addresses, dates and times, requested pages, and technical browser and connection information. Where access requires authentication, the provider also processes the data needed for that access under its own policies.

Data processing on the site includes the browsing and audience measurement activities described in this notice. This does not eliminate infrastructure logs or guarantee complete anonymity. Data protection should inform feature selection, maintenance, and site operation.

Protected messages and attachments.

The form uses TC | Safe Sender, by Tailored Coding. The form requires a name, email address, purpose, and message; a phone number and attachment are optional. This information is used to assess the matter, route the inquiry, and respond.

Content is encrypted in the browser with OpenPGP and an AES-256 session key, protected by the recipients' verified public keys. The message, included data, email presentation, and any attachment remain inside the encrypted content. Recipients' private keys are not stored on the website server, which receives ciphertext for email delivery.

You may attach one JPG, PNG, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, or PDF file smaller than 2,000,000 bytes. The form checks size and format; it does not scan for malware or remove metadata. Review the filename, content, authorship, comments, and other file properties before sending it.

Technical contact data.

The encrypted content may also include the server-observed IP address, referring page without query parameters or fragments, form language and version, browser-reported time, and browser and device characteristics. A technical identifier is calculated from those characteristics without probing images, audio, or installed fonts. Existing Google Analytics identifiers from this site's cookies may be included. These details provide context and do not establish the sender's identity.

The Contact page does not load Google Analytics. Hosting and email services process technical connection and delivery information. Attachments are transmitted with their original metadata.

Abuse prevention and retention.

The service uses one-time challenges, browser-based proof of work, and sending limits. Security counters use temporary identifiers derived from the network address with site-specific keys, without storing the plain IP address, message, or form data in those counters. Events stop counting after one hour, and the keys used in these records rotate hourly.

Expired records are removed during new sending attempts or by the maintenance routine. Scheduled execution of that routine is still to be implemented; records may remain longer during periods without use. The site does not maintain a local message database. Delivered messages remain in recipient mailboxes, subject to access controls and retention periods applicable to the matter and legal obligations.

Entered text is not saved in browser local storage. When sending is not confirmed, the form retains the message and attachment so you can retry or remove them with Clear. Sending confirmation means acceptance by the mail service, not that recipients have read the message or accepted a legal engagement.

Purposes, retention, and sharing.

Technical information is used to serve pages, maintain functionality, and protect access. The applicable legal basis depends on the operation and the party performing it, including legal obligations and legitimate interests in functionality and security where LGPD requirements are met.

Retention periods for infrastructure logs depend on purposes, legal obligations, and the respective providers' practices. Technology services may use infrastructure outside Brazil; any international transfers must comply with applicable rules. Information needed to exercise rights or meet obligations may be retained where legally permitted.

Your rights and requests.

Under the LGPD, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, and information about sharing. Where applicable, you may also request portability, anonymization, blocking, or deletion, withdraw consent, object to processing, and petition the data protection authority.

Requests concerning processing for which the firm is responsible may be sent to its office address, listed under Contact. Describe your request and provide only the information needed to locate the records. We may verify your identity or authority to act for another person to protect the information involved.

When using external services, consult their own privacy information. This notice will be updated when features or processing conditions change.
