Assessment must lead to decisions: which risks take priority, who is responsible for each measure, and how implementation will be monitored. The scope may include a risk matrix, policy review, third-party criteria, communication procedures, and team guidance.

A new engagement, for example, may require third-party assessment, integrity clauses, and criteria for monitoring the relationship. Reviewing these steps together helps identify gaps between documentation and practice.
